Product of South Africa
A zesty, aromatic dry white wine with vibrant, juicy flavours of gooseberry, citrus fruit, pears and a hint of fresh grass. South Africa has a well deserved reputation for fresh fruity wines like this Sauvignon Blanc made from grapes grown in the Western Cape where warm days and cool nights help to develop the intensely aromatic fruit. Produced by uniWines Vineyards from Fairtrade vineyards in the Western Cape. Fairtrade means fairer trading conditions and opportunities for producers in developing countries to invest in their businesses and communities for a sustainable future. Winemakers WS Visagie and Hattingh de Villiers together with M&S’s Sue Daniels have left the wine un-oaked to let its fresh crisp character shine through. The lifted, fresh grass and gooseberry notes demand the wine is drunk young. Serve lightly chilled with grilled fish and Mediterranean style tapas.
